About Jopok Topokki
Started in Hongdae, South Korea, we specialize in Korean βbunshikβ which became a staple of Korean cuisine during the time of the Korean war in order to combat shortages in rice crops. Thus dishes primarily utilizing wheat grains were created in order to feed the war ravaged population. Most specifically we specialize in Topokki which are Korean rice cakes cooked in a sweet but mostly spicy sauce.
Jopok Topokki is a korean restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 6201 N Front St #124, Philadelphia, PA 19120, which places it among the local businesses of Philadelphia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ordered take outβ¦ felt that $16 was excessive for the small pieces I received and thought it tasted very average. Iβm willing to try other things on their menu since they received so many positive reviews but $16 for what I received was extremely disappointing. Please do better with your soondae.

The service is always great. It's in the food court and they bring the food out to your table as soon as it's ready. There are plenty of delicious options. I recommend the kimbap and tteokboki.

Definitely a hidden gem! I got a recommendation to visit Jopok Topokki, but when I searched it up, the Korea locations showed up first! We ended up with enough food to serve a small army since there were so many things to try along with the tteokbokki- the portions were generous and VERY filling. Everything in the Handmade Fried Set was perfectly crispy and not greasy, and the Fish Cake Skewers are a great add-on if you're extra hungry (we were stuffed). Heard someone call in to place a takeout catering order and I might have to steal that idea to get a party tray of RosΓ© Topokki for my next potluck...

I got the rosΓ© tteokbokki and it was so delicious! The sauce was really rich and it was the perfect amount for a dinner meal. The woman who took my order was really sweet and found where I was sitting to let me know my order was ready. I would definitely come back again!

The food was really, really good. Also, the staff are really nice. I would give this restaurant a 100 star, if I could. Absolutely recommend the #4 with cheese and the blood sausage. This restaurant is really popular in Korea and in California, and the food really lives up to the franchise name. Wishing this restaurant success as its food is a true treasure, and everyone should try! We visited HMart for this tteokbokki and you wonβt regret doing the same!
